Niamh Lowney is a Dublin-based artist whose creative journey began in 2020, when she was inspired to pick up the pen and draw for art again, rather than just for work. As a full-time architect, drawing has always been a part of her everyday life, but it was during this time that she rediscovered the artistic side of herself. Thus, niamhlowney_draws was born.

Since then, Niamh has embraced drawing as a form of relaxation and a personal creative outlet. She is particularly drawn to the places and activities she knows best, with Ireland serving as her ultimate muse. Splitting her time between Dublin and Sligo, she finds inspiration in the quintessential Irish scenes around her — from the lively atmosphere of pubs to the tranquil beauty of the sea. The textures and details of these familiar environments continue to fuel her creative passion, allowing her to capture their essence with each stroke of the pen.
