Waves - Kathi Burke

Kathi Burke is an artist, illustrator, and author from Dunmore East, Waterford. Her work encompasses drawing, writing, and crafting innovative ideas for new creative projects.  

Over the past decade, Kathi's artistic journey has spanned exhibitions, children's books, brand collaborations, printmaking, merchandise design, and creativity workshops for young people. While much of her client work is created digitally, her true passion lies in exploring new mediums and techniques, as well as engaging with young people through creative initiatives.  

Currently, Kathi is developing new works using collage, embroidery, painting, and poetry, with storytelling remaining at the core of her practice. She is based at the Garter Lane Visual Arts Studio in Waterford.
